As Canada’s mens hockey team beat their American rivals in Sochi, Saskatchewanians were cheering proudly and not ashamed to admit they were setting aside work and school to watch the game.
Canada advanced to the men’s final after beating the U.S. 1-0 in the mid-day game. The win gives the team a chance to repeat as Olympic champions, having taken home gold in 2010 in Vancouver.
